The hiring manager was quick to schedule a phone interview shortly after I applied for the position. Most of the Residence Life team was also on the phone. The conversation was about an hour long, and they were sure to hype up the housing benefits of the job. I waited nearly two weeks to hear that I was no longer a candidate, and I suspect the college chose a candidate that was closer geographically or already a part of the institution.
