Technical Administrative Assistant (4 Oct 2023) -
After the vacancy closed, it took one month to receive a response and proceed with the first two steps of the process:
- a pre-recorded video interview (to be completed within 7 days) and;
- a written test (scheduled for 7 days after receiving the response)
The video had 3 predefined questions that needed to be answered in about 2 minutes. Once the email was received, I had around 5 days to record the responses and prepare for the written test.
Regarding the video, I could record it anytime, and once you start the recording, there's no way to pause it and you have 1 minute to think before it starts, so you have to answer all the questions in one go.
Video interview questions:
1. Introduce yourself and your motivation to apply
2. Example of team collaboration
3. How do you categorise and organise business documents
Regarding the written test, I had 60 minutes to complete the test and share the final outputs in a OneDrive folder.
The written test included 3 exercises:
1. Write an email on behalf of your HoU
2. Budget analysis with total costs
3. Prepare a .ppt on a specific topic
After these 2 steps, I received the outcome one week later and was invited for a live interview via Teams. Due to the winter holidays, the interview took place 1 month after I received the outcome.
I was interviewed by 4 colleagues, and the meeting lasted around 30 minutes, with detailed technical questions related to the position.
I received the outcome 2 weeks after my interview.
In general, the lengthiest part of the process was the initial review of all applications (1 month). But once they selected the pool of candidates, the other stages progressed quite smoothly. Within 3 weeks max, you should typically know if you've received an offer.
