Interview panel were very hostile. I was asked what work I had done on my proposed research topic between submitting it and attending the interview. Have never been expected to be doing a job before being hired to do it. Very strange.

There were six people interviewing me for a PhD position: five professors and one current PhD student. We had strictly 30 min. In the beginning I presentd my research proposal in 5 min and for the rest the professors were asking me questions one by one, only regarding my proposal.
