I applied online. I interviewed at Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library
Interview
Interviews are done by a panel including the manager, HR representative, and an employee of similar rank. It can feel intimidating because they are told to keep a straight face and stick with the scripted questions. Some questions are phrased oddly, but they prefer straightforward answers so it's fine to ask for clarification.

Question 1
What are your strengths, and how will you use them in this position?
I applied online. I interviewed at Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library (Evansville, IN) in Nov 2021
Interview
It was straight forward and pleasant. Due to COVID it was via video conferencing. They did a great job about arranging multiple people in the same room so it was easy to hear everyone.

Question 1
What experience do you have cataloging non-print materials, for example tools and cookware that is part of the special collection?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library in Jun 2020
Interview
Two stage process. One round via zoom, one in person. A lot of standard HRish kind of questions, not a lot about my experience or my qualifications for the job. No one ever wanted to see my portfolio.
