      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Everwise (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2018

      Interview

After applying, I had an initial phone interview with one of the current Experience Managers, then I had a written assessment which included situational questions as well as spelling/grammar questions, followed by a second phone interview (which I was told was a Skype interview, but turned out to be a phone interview) with another team member. Finally I was sent an automated message that said my "application and hiring information" were not a match for the team.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Everwise (New York, NY) in Aug 2016

      Interview

They were looking to hire a group of Experience Managers at one time. I went through 3 interviews that went well (they said) and I went through a personality test. Then.....nothing. I waited and waited and waited for 4 weeks. After the umpteenth email to them to understand what was going on, they finally replied over a month later to say that they are still vetting out the hires. Not a freeze, I ask? No, just figuring out who goes where and when. Cool. And then I wait and wait and wait....until i couldn't take it any longer. I called and emailed and emailed again. Nothing! Wtf, I thought. This company specializes in recruiting mentors to assist top-level associates and they cannot return an email with any updates. My only guess is that they drag people through this to build a pipeline in the event that they wish to hire. I just received the No Thank you email since they decided to put the positions on hold! I have interviewed and worked at more businesses than i wish to mention, but wow. This is a new record. I really hope that this is a one-off and that all other interview processes are efficient....but i doubt it. How do you ignore so many people that were slatted to start soon after interview, and then ignore them like I ignore my toll-bill when they keep coming in. I am writing this our of frustration and the fact that this cannot pass without mentioning. Lastly, I wish to highlight the irony that after more than 6 MONTHS, i just got the email today that says no thanks. I will say that this experience was anything but....ever....wise.
