The overall process was fairly generic but particularly uninspired. The interviewer was distant and appeared to be reading off a script, with little knowledge of the day-to-day requirements of the job listing. This made it hard to engage with the talent acquisition member, but he was very efficient and kept his questions succinct. Unfortunately, he seemed to be mostly listening for buzzwords instead of relevant work experience, so I got the sense he didn't understand how or why I would apply for the open position. He ultimately suggested I apply to a more junior position, despite exceeding all of the original job's requirements. Needless to say, I had soured on the firm by that point and looked elsewhere.
