Interview process was very straightforward. Communication with HR was great while in the interviewing process (became harder to get information about what was going on after accepting the offer). After taking and passing the initial tests (POSS and BMST), my interview was the next day. The interview was STAR format. The company told us it would be in this format before hand and gave examples of how to answer their questions. If answers were not given in this format, the interviewer would ask another question to ensure that the STAR process was completed. The interview was with shift operations supervisor, the operations training supervisor, and an HR representative. The questions were very straight forward with most of them being about safety, following procedures/directions properly, leadership, and teamwork. A job offer was made 2 weeks after the interview. An extensive background check was made at this point that involved proof of education, asking where I lived and worked over the last 10 years, calling my references and asking them for more references, and a credit check. Mental and physical examinations were held at the plant a few weeks before the starting date. The offer was contingent on passing all of these. Overall it was a very easy process and everything was straight forward. Everything to be done was explained before hand and if there was any confusion, HR was quick to reply to the issue.
