I was successful in all of the recruitment steps and I was told by the interviewers that my qualifications fully align with the role. However, I was rejected. The final feedback for the rejection was that even though I match with the qualifications, they felt thatI would be more excited in a different role. After I reached out to the HR for some feedback regarding this bizarre decision, I never received a response. 1.It is highly unfair to decide on behalf of the candidate what they would be more excited about. Why would I continue through the recruitment then if I wasn't excited about it? Interviews should be about the qualifications assessment. How can a person who met you for the first time and just for 1 hour determine what kind of roles you are excited about? 2.One of the companies values is "be human". When I was rejected from this position that I really wanted, I had a panic attack. I tried reaching out to the HR to get at least some kind of human contact and nobody ever responded to me. I'm sorry but this was not the first stage when there are 100s of candidates. We were left to only a couple of people. "Be Human" means that you can respond to one of the few final candidates.
