unangenehmes Gesprächsklima – u.a. wurde mir bereits gleich am Anfang des Interviews erklärt, dass das Unternehmen eig niemanden mit so wenig praktischer Erfahrung überhaupt einstellt

Interview
I applied via e-mail in November 2016. I got a confirmation of my application by the company secretary whithin an hour after submitting my documents. I got an invitation for a telephone interview the following week. The telephone interview took place a few days after that. Since I couldnt attend personally, I had several telephone interviews lasting approximately 3 hours.
After the interviews I got to do some online tests (technical) and was contacted again two days afterwards. I got the contract a week after that.

The typical investment banking questions.
It is very important to know:
1. Who is FCF? Taking a look at the company website helps a lot. They have published many market studies, have information regarding their business, their previous deals etc.
2. Technical part: Solid knowledge of accounting, valuation, whats going on in the financial market, league tables
3. Why FCF and why Investment banking? I think every company wants to first understand how genuine your interest is. Are you applying because you really are thrilled to work in investment banking? Do you even know what expects you in such enviroment? Are you ready to commit to a such challenging job?
