Interview
If your application meets the criteria, the telephone screening is essentially just a get to know you chat with a bit of knowledge testing about FDM’s business model. Nothing you shouldn’t know before applying.
Video interview is all strength based questions like, how would you deal with different levels of seniority. How would you get to the root cause of a problem. They’re really looking for examples of when you have had to do these things in your past jobs or uni and for you use the STAR technique, this was the key point in the feedback.
The assessment day is quite long as you have four tests of verbal, numerical sequences, set notations, IT aptitude and 3 partner interviews. Your recruiter will send you some links to practice these beforehand but I would definitely go further than these. Verbal is basic English language comprehension, numerical sequences are quite difficult especially if you haven’t done them in while, so definitely brush up on them, they’re no walk in the park! Set notations get quite complicated so definitely practice these a lot as they will try and confuse you. Use the booklet they give you on the day but only as a reference, if you have done enough practice you shouldn’t need to rely on it. IT aptitude gets fairly technical so learn acronyms and stuff like white vs black box testing ip4 v ip6 etc.... there’s some code in there too. Partner interviews are just a general chat again about your previous experiences and how they’ve equipped you for this role you’ve applied for and situations you may be faced with.
Good luck! Everyone there is really friendly and helpful so ask questions if you have them, it seems like a great atmosphere.

Phone interview -> HR zoom interview -> Aptitude Test -> Assessment Day
Overall, the interview was mostly based on behavioral questions, nothing special. They also provided some interview tips which is really helpful.

Fair process, though very procedural and felt quite cookie cutter. Wasn't anything out of the ordinary though also nothing tailored to your own application either. Would recommend researching company and role.
