      Average interview

      Application

      Interview

Overall, not very hard. It's a pretty easy process. Phone interview then technical test and at last a behavioral interview . and if you don't perform well in technical test then you will have one more technical interview.

      Test Automation Interview

      27 Aug 2020
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at FDM Group

      Interview

Had a quick phone interview with a friendly recruiter who was with me through the whole of my interviewing process. Then had a video interview where the 4 or 5 questions are unknown and you only have 90 seconds to prepare. Very awkward as you're pretty much talking to yourself. After this is the assessment stage where, due to COVID-19, is online. The numerical reasoning is done through an app, that present the questions in a colourful way. The questions didn't require much mathematical skill as they were just about sequences. The verbal reasoning was also done through the app and must be completed straight after the mathematical one. The questions required you to read a passage and answer if a particular statement was true, false or cannot say. the other assessments were about Venn diagrams and set notation, IT/business competency and logic reasoning which is all done online. After the assessments are the final interviews, which was conducted on zoom. The 1st half consists of an hour-long presentation talking about the company further, where you can also ask questions if you have any. You then have a 15/20 minute break. After which you'll have 1:1 interviews with 3 separate employees from different departments. They'll ask you 4/5 questions with the first being an ice breaker so you won't be marked on it.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

what future technology would/will have the biggest impact? How would you present a technical presentation to someone, not from that department?
