I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at FREIGHTQUOTE (Kansas City, MO) in Feb 2020
Interview
I applied online on 1/29 and received an e-mail requesting a phone interview 2 days later. We scheduled that for 2/7 and it went well. The recruiter asked me several questions and provided me with information about the company. She then asked me if I would be available for an in person interview 2/10 (the next business day). I accepted. I met with the manager and he had me shadow a senior account manager for about 20 minutes where I got to see the system that I would be using and get a general idea of what the job entailed. I then met with the manager again and with another sales manager for the interview portion. They took turns asking me questions, some harder to answer than others. Took a short break to allow me to ask some questions and then finished up the interview with a couple more questions. After the interview, they brought me out to the floor again where I was able to meet the General Manager before I left. The overall process from application submission to position offer took about a week and a half.
Phone interview with in person interview. After several attempts to set up an in person interview it was impossible to get a response back. Even if I was no longer being considered it would have been nice to communicate that via email.
