The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FTI Consulting (Cape Town)
Interview
Though they were not actively recruiting at the time, I sent through my CV and a cover letter and then followed up with a phone call. They admired my tenacity and asked me to come through for an interview. The process just involved an informal conversation with the HR management where I was asked what I understood about the company and my experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There were no really difficult questions because they all involved fit questions.
For the AC
1) group round - did a case study and each of us were asked questions based on our group answer after
2) math and verbal reasoning test, written essay test
3) individual interviews - one with current analysts about cv, one with a partner (casing)
Pretty basic behavioral questions - no technicals. I'd recommend knowing your "why" and being able to clearly explain your interest in the specific practice. Also, prepare to ask the interviewer more in-depth questions, too.
Online assessment including verbal and numerical parts for the financial and economic consulting intern position. Given one minute for each question, I insist the time was quite tight for verbal part
