I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at FactSet (London, England)
Interview
The Interview Process took quite long, I applied online in February and only got an invitation to complete my online tests in April. The numeracy and finance tests were easy to complete, especially if you have some finance background. After passing the test stage I was invited for an interview. The interviewer first asked me questions about my CV and my qualifications and then asked me questions about FactSet, why I wanted to work there, who were its competitors, what was FactSet's competitive advantage, and what the differences between investment banking, investment management and fixed income were.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at FactSet (Toronto, ON) in Sept 2023
Interview
The hiring manager was super supportive and nice for the first interview. There are multiple rounds, and gets harder each time. The first interview was pretty general and didn't ask many questions about the company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why do I want to work at FactSet? How did I first hear about FactSet?
Standard questions mostly behavioural. There were some technical questions like pitch me a stock, most were finance based. It was a one on one interview with a recruiter first round.
Applied online, took a couple of tests which were not hard(numerical, financial terms), video interview, assessment centre (microteach, excel test, factset software test, group exercise), panel interview (60 min)
Everyone was very nice and friendly.
