      Customer Success Manager Interview

      11 Oct 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at FairWarning

      Interview

This began with a junior level "screener" phone call - very scripted and non specific in terms of information relayed. Any questions I had were "we are looking for good people with relevant experience". I sort of blew this off after that call because I didn't get a good vibe. But then, I get a call back, to coordinate a call with the Hiring Manager. Great, I thought, lets see where this goes. In reading other's experience's here, It appears I'm not alone. It just got weirder. Guy calls me up....seems very sedated...not engaging, but again, "I'll see where this goes". He then asks me about my experience and why I think it would be a good fit for the role. Well, after providing generalized info on my experience, I also asked him questions about the role, and what he was looking for. Again, very vague responses....often followed by long pauses. At one point, I asked "hello?, are you still there?". All this to say, that is where this ended. Never heard back and honestly would have declined. There was nothing to connect to what they were looking for, what the job day to day was going to be, etc. Most bizarre interviews I think I've had in my 20 year career.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at FairWarning (Tampa, FL) in Feb 2019

      Interview

Like others I have seen on here, I to only had a meeting with the recruiter. It was by far the least professional interview I have experienced. The call was set for 30 minutes. However the recruiter was 20 minutes late , and didnt even acknowledge she was calling late let alone apologize. She proceeded to ask me generic questions about my experience. Very basic questions. There was no freeflowing conversation that I have had with almost all of my recruiter calls. But I realized that this was all just a prelude to get to the question of Salary. We were about 9 minutes in at that point ,and once she asked that, she ended the call . She would say that she would reach out with next steps. The next day I received the Robo email saying they were going with other more qualified candidates. Which to me was odd , as I had done everything in the job description for over 12 years. This conversation easily could be added to their web application and not have me waste time like this. Like others, I feel this was all to get to the salary question. And As you read you will see my experience is not unique.

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at FairWarning (Clearwater, FL) in Sept 2018

      Interview

Worst interview process I have ever been through. Late to the interview and she was doing other things in between asking me questions. I am not even sure she listened to 1/2 of what I was saying. No personality and poor communication about next steps.
