I applied online. I interviewed at Fannie Mae (Washington, DC) in Jan 2021
Interview
(1) Recruiter; (2) Supervisor; (3) Skip-Levels. Relatively standard in terms of rounds of interviews. The recruiter negotiated the salary range up-front, which was helpful for understanding what the offer might entail and prevent wasted time.

Question 1
Incredibly academic and vague. One question: "Teach me something" with no context or problem statement/topic suggestion. It was interesting, but uncomfortable at times.
Mostly behavioral and virtual. It was pretty easy the lady was very friendly and it was an enjoyable interview. She asked a lot about my interests and technical experience. The email communication with the recruiter was efficient.

It was ok - the interviewers mostly asked questions on work experience. They seemed mostly concerned about work experience with financial industries, working in team environment, and experience with SQL.
