I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Farmers Insurance Group (Olathe, KS) in May 2011
Interview
I was sent an email to schedule pre-employment testing. Once I passed all the test I had an interview with a recruiter. They TALK YOU UP! They said I was exactly what they were looking for and had all the skills necessary. I don't want to say they made me over-confident, but they really REALLY build you up. I then scheduled a final interview where I met with 3 managers/supervisors, and job shadowed. I pretty much knew I wasn't going to get the job because they only had me shadow for 15 minutes. All in all it was a good learning experience, but just be aware, even though the recruiter makes you think you are a perfect fit for the job, chances are the mangers/supervisors won't see you in the same light.
Fairly easy overall. 30 minute call to get a feel for me and tell about the position and sus out basic requirements for the job like having a driver's license.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Farmers Insurance Group (Los Angeles, CA) in Jun 2019
Interview
Process was quick in my scenario, there was a phone screen and in-person. The company is very selective on who they hire. I must’ve done something wrong, but it’s all trial and error.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Farmers Insurance Group (Sacramento, CA) in Jun 2019
Interview
Phone interview with basic questions about myself, which lead to an in-person interview with a panel of three. The interviewers were very personable. I was given a few written questions to answer and then moved to a verbal interview. The questions were about my background, strengths, and weaknesses, conflict resolution abilities, etc.
