Around 3 weeks before the interview I was asked to complete an online "skills assessment" questionnaire, where only the first question was at all relevant to the position (the question asked which position I'm applying for). The rest were optional, though.
It was a skype interview for a position in Japan, with me being in Europe. I was emailed less than 24 hours before the interview, letting me know that it's scheduled for 7am the next morning.
Two fairly technically competent interviewers called on the agreed-upon time. Asked generally simple technical questions, warned that "respect comes before being correct" in the company. I was allowed to understand that the position is fairly constrained and moving towards data scientists is unlikely.
