Apply, Interview, and hire. The interview was basically a conversation about what is expected from the employee. My boss needed a really good writer. I had written a few proposals before. I wrote a lot while in graduate school. That was his first question...can you write good?
Pretty straightforward, and multiple rounds with a full committee. Sometimes it takes a while to hear back depending on the timeframe. I would say it is general questions and seeing if you would fit within the common goals.
