I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at FedEx (Grove City, OH) in Oct 2010
Interview
Called the human resources. Set up a time to come in. Be On Time!!! filled out a very basic application. My history doesn't reflect the title but i was honest. I think they just wanted hard workers who are consistent. I don't think they validate previous employers, (evereyone says they do) however they do a criminal background check. They also drug test all full time employees, and that includes part timers being promoted.

Online application. Usually get a call for the interview after 3 or 4 days. The interview itself is very straight forward. The only way to mess up is to not use your common sense. After the interview I was offered a position and had to go take a urinalysis.
