I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at FedEx (Vandalia, OH) in Aug 2012
Interview
Very basic interview. Asked if I was willing to lift more than 50lbs, if I was a U.S. citizen, if I had any felonies, ect. If you have made it to the personal interview then you pretty much got the job. This information is from my experience and talking to co-workers.

Mostly based off work history. They seem felon friendly. I do not have a criminal history. Personality test not difficult. They responded within 4 weeks. Haven't been there physically or meant face to face.
Super easy process—mostly online application with basic questions about availability, ability to lift 50-70 lbs, and fast-paced work. No tough interview; quick hire after background check. Positive and straightforward. Definitely worth it.
