During the recruiter screening call, I had a 30-minute conversation with an HR representative where we discussed my background, professional experience, and why I was interested in the role and the company. She also went over the role expectations and asked about my salary expectations, availability to start, and work authorization status. The conversation seemed positive, and she mentioned that she would follow up regarding the next steps in the interview process. Unfortunately, after that, I never heard back from her. Despite sending a follow-up email, I ended up getting ghosted, which was disappointing given how optimistic the initial conversation felt.

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you had a challenging coworker
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at FedEx (Amsterdam) in Jan 2022
Interview
Online interview.
The manager that I spoke to behaved like not only had he never conducted an interview before, he'd never spoken to another human before. He didn't seem to know how to run an interview, and expected me to do it instead.
After one hour of this interview, he told me I didn't have enough experience - did he even check my resume beforehand? Could've saved us both an hour.
Despite this, he told me to "get back" to him on whether I wanted the role - wait what?
I told him I was interested, but I was confused since he had just told me I wasn't eligible. But he just repeated that I should get back to him by the end of the week.
I did as he said regardless, only to receive a rejection email.
