I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fennies Day Nurseries (Bromley, England) in Sept 2022
Interview
The interview process was quite drawn out. at first you go into one of the rooms (likely the age range they want you to work with) and will be left to be observed by staff that are based in that room. this is only supposed to be for 30mins ish but I was left in the room for nearly 2 hours. You are then escorted to a meeting room and asked about your prior experience amongst a few hypotheticals and some of your safeguarding knowledge. overall it is a quite informal experience

Question 1
They asked me to elaborate on my previous experience working as a childminding assistant.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Fennies Day Nurseries (Eltham, England) in Aug 2024
Interview
Interview process was good. It started with a telephone call from hr and I was asked questions regarding safeguarding, what I would do in certain situations, if I have worked in childcare before and my career background. The following week I went for a face to face interview with the manager at the nursery and I also did a 1 hour trial in one of the rooms. The whole process was very smooth and I even found out on the same day that I got the job. I did actually go for a full time role but I felt that a lunchtime role suited me better as I have childcare commitments.
