I interviewed at Filtration Group (Oakbrook Terrace, IL)
Interview
Six interviews and easy questions. Everything was done within 2 weeks. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.
They have a very high turnover rate, so they do hire once a while.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Filtration Group (Oak Brook, IL) in Sept 2025
Interview
**BEWARE**
Their recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn to apply. Interviews were: 1 w/recruiter, 3 on-site to meet the people on the team I'd be joining. There was also a case study (more of behavioral questions + IQ-type questions format).
I went through the whole process and offered the role but THEN, they tell me they actually don't have internal approval for the role/won't be hiring anymore. Absolutely unprofessional and complete waste of my time. Why recruit and gather candidates for a role that isn't even approved by the company????????
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1) Describe a time you had to request data from someone who wasn't responsive
2) Why this role and company?
3) Describe your experience with researching technical accounting and finance guidance, and applying it to your work
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Filtration Group (Fairburn, GA) in Oct 2023
Interview
The questions were mostly behavioral, and they asked a few questions on what I've done in the past for engineering projects. There were some logistical questions too about how I would get to work.
