I applied online. I interviewed at Fired Earth (London, England) in Apr 2020
Interview
Interview was a phone call from their head office. It was very casual. There was an ability to chat, answer questions and ask my own questions about the job requirements and company.

Interview
I applied through indeed and had a call back for an interview, was very friendly on the phone. In person they seemed surprised to see me and looked me up and down. I was dressed presentable as I work in a corporate office so was smart. There was 2 of them and looked down their nose at me and were quite rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. The friendly person I spoke to wasn't the same person who was interviewing me (even though it was) and was made to feel like I was inadequate and wasting their time. I was judged as I rent my property and when asked how I would get there and said I would walk as its a 20 minute walk and didn't drive - I was looked at with disgust. I'm glad that I wasn't offered the job as I wouldn't have accepted! Not what I was expecting!

Interview
Very informal relaxed process. I simply sat down with the manager who was very friendly and open. She explained what would be involved in the role and asked me about my previous experience in the design and retail arena.
