Sales Associate and Client Service Associate Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Camas, WA) in Jan 2016

      Interview

I had a couple of phone interviews first, after I passed the phone interviews I had to do the background check. After I passed the background check I was asked to come on campus to interview one on one for two different positions. After the interview I was told I would hear back within a couple of weeks for a final interview. Everything was going smoothly at this point, they called me a week later and told me I had a final phone interview for the CSA position the following Friday. On the day of my final interview I got a phone call saying the person I was going to interview with "did not make it into the office" so the interview was canceled. I would have to wait until they could set up another interview. And after that day the process fell apart. Three months of waiting and back and forth emails every other week after that happened. Recruiters telling me "maybe next week" and after that week "maybe in two weeks," saying "they haven't received the OK from the hiring managers yet, and they don't know how many people they need to hire." The total process took over 4 months since they first contacted me. After 4 months and 1 week, I finally got a phone call saying "our hiring managers decided not to move along with your hiring process." All I have to say is this has been a very poor and frustrating experience. Their hiring process was the worst and longest that I have ever experienced. I think its very unprofessional to have someone wait that long (4+ months) in the first place and then say "thanks for being so patient with us but its not going to move forward." If they are putting people through this type of waiting game with no solid answers I wouldn't waste my time here again. I hope this helps.
