I applied online. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (San Mateo, CA) in May 2016
Interview
It was a very weird Skype process with very basic questions considering my background. If you apply for an associate level role, even if you've been out of school for a year or two, they ask about college hobbies. Not really typical for most companies in the Bay. This was one of the many reasons I dipped out of the interview process early. The second was they have very low pay and are not willing to negotiate, which makes me think the comments regarding hierarchy, and old fashioned approach to career advancement is likely to be present at this company.
The interview process was long and involved multiple steps, starting with an initial phone screening to assess basic qualifications. This was followed by a technical assessment and two rounds of in-depth interviews, including a panel discussion with senior team members. After several weeks and a final interview with the hiring manager, the process concluded with reference checks before an offer was finally extended

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Tampa, FL) in Feb 2025
Interview
Good, quick, usual situational questions. Nothing out of the ordinary from them. Lasted about 45 minutes. Unsure if I was on the last interview or not but thought it was well operated.
It was a phone interview and the lady was nice, it took about 30 min and she just asked basic behavioral questions and questions about my work experience and what kind of companies I had applied for
