I applied online and went through a phone call with HR before being asked to be flown up to their headquarters for an in person day of interviews. When I flew up, they drove us up in a limo and we were asked to be interviewed for 3 job positions. Although I specifically applied for their customer facing role, they asked me to try for their sales and finance roles as well. It seemed that everyone who was flown up with me was asked to interview for 3 positions and if they liked you they would pick the one for you. This I felt was extremely odd for me because I knew where my interests were at and what I wanted to do with my career but felt like they just wanted to fill empty spots. After interviewing all day, I was offered to advance with a finance position, to which I told them that I was actually really only interested in the customer facing job I applied for. They then asked if I was sure about that because it would make lower my chances of getting into the company. After I told them I was sure of my interests and career path they called to tell me that they would no longer continue with me. Personally this is probably a great experience for any out of college student who just wants a job and is willing to be put in any position, but if you know exactly what you want in your career path this probably will also be a negative experience as they tried really hard to push you to another role. It seems that applying to any job through their site is really a way for them to convince you to work in another department.
