Interview
Most of the phone interview consisted of Sherri verbally berating me about how I didn’t have the necessary experience. Not many questions asked, just had to sit there and be told I couldn’t possibly be successful in the position. I wish I was never contacted.
I spoke to Sherri Fishman on the phone briefly. Unlike a traditional phone interview where questions are asked about your experience, I was basically talked out of the position. I would have preferred to not be contacted in the first place if I knew I was just going to be told I was not enough/ degraded over the phone.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fishman Public Relations (Northbrook, IL)
Interview
Phone Interview in which I was told I was not qualified. Despite this, I was invited to take the writing test (3 hours) and then come in for an in-person, thinking I may have convinced the owner of the company otherwise with my answers. In person was supposed to last two hours, and lasted barely an hour. I received a response citing not enough experience later that night. I wish the screening would have been done more carefully, I wasted a lot of time on the test and preparing for the in-person. My level of experience was clear on my resume and could have been gleaned from the first phone screen.
