I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fjordnet
Interview
I was contacted by and worked directly with a recruiter. The several jobs he presented were really analogous. The recruiter couldn't articulate the major differences and hierarchy of the roles, what the actual day-to-day accountability looked like, or how those roles would contribute to company goals. (even after I pressed for answers on all of these) I was told that they were great questions, but never got concrete answers. It felt very much like they had a ton of work on their plate and were looking for people to offload it onto.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fjordnet (Dublin, Dublin) in Mar 2022
Interview
There was an initial phone call with a recruiter with a few basic questions, next an interview with 2 of the design team to run through your work and ask you some other questions related to your work and more general design thinking related ones.
A recruiter then gets in touch to schedule another interview if they want to move forward with you after the first interview, they set you a design task which you have to present.
I bowed out before the second interview as they had taken months to get back to me and I had gotten a job elsewhere.

Question 1
What’s the role of a graphic designer to a product designer?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Fjordnet (London, England) in Sept 2021
Interview
Got an offer after 3 rounds of unstructured interview around portfolio.
Declined the offer because of their offer was drastically below market rate. They offered £50K which was 40% lower than my current comp for the same level. Refused to negotiate whatsoever.
