I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at FlexShopper (Boca Raton, FL) in Aug 2021
Interview
It was painless, simple and pretty quick. Came to the office meet with some upper management took a tour then answered some questions.
What were my goals
Would i be interested in learning new skills and if so how would i then use the skills in life
The process typically begins with a 30-minute phone call with a recruiter or hiring manager. This conversation focuses on your background, experience in data analysis or product work, and interest in the company and role. Be prepared to speak to your SQL skills and how you’ve supported cross-functional teams.

Question 1
Can you walk us through a time when you used data to influence a product or business decision?
I was contacted asking whether I was interested in the data analyst job which I applied to over a year ago and I said yes. I was then sent an aptitude test that looks like it was made by a high schooler and had questions on calculating percentages. It was almost insulting how easy it was given I have and engineering bachelor’s degree and math masters degree. I have better things to do than calculate a simple percentage. I asked how much the pay was and never got a response so I could only assume it’s well below what it should be. I also interviewed for a data science internship a few years ago and I it was clear the interviewer had an ego as he was belittling me for not having much experience at the time. This was the only time in my life I’ve had such an experience. This company is extremely unprofessional.
