I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Flexport (New York, NY)
Interview
I have never written a Glassdoor review before, but this was an incredibly frustrating process and I hope this will encourage some change in how they treat the recruitment process.
My phone interviews were all fine. When it came time for the onsite interview I provided availability and it wasn't matching up with several people on the team as I had to travel to New Orleans that week for a conference. I cancelled and changed my flight for Flexport, and they were aware of this. At 11 pm the night before I get an email that one of the employees is working from home tomorrow so they needed to put off my interview.. I was rather annoyed after having accommodated them for this particular time slot but fine. We rescheduled for a week later... I came onsite expecting to meet three people. I went through the first two meetings, both positive. Then the HR person comes in and says the third person (who is the SAME guy who was working from home a week before) had to run to a client meeting and couldn't make it, then suggested I could come back to speak with him. At this point I'm very turned off but I didn't want to attribute Flexport to this one individual who is incredibly rude.
The next day, after my follow ups, I receive an email from the original recruiter that they wanted to keep my candidacy open for a later date but the person they had an offer out to just accepted that morning. Um what?! Why would you have me come onsite and waste my time if you are at the offer stage with someone already? The excuse, "we didn't know the person would accept"....
The entire process showed a total lack of awareness for candidates time and personal schedule and frankly it wouldn't be somewhere I'd work given this terrible lack of respect I was given.

Interview
Pretty standard interview process. First interview is a phone screen with an internal recruiter. If you pass that, they bring you in for an on-site interview. You meet with 2-3 people. Usually a couple Account Executives followed by an interview with the hiring manager.
