Interview
The consultant and the HR team did not know the exact job profile they were interviewing for.
I was told, they will interview me first and then decide what designation to match the skillset.
Interview process involved grilling by 8 different teams right from SSE to Directors and then heads of each functional units. they insist on interviewing on a weekday and take about 6-7 hours of your time.
SSE asking code level questions for a senior leadership position was not funny at all.

Question 1
Asked to solve a design problem with their existing software with limited information of the back-end. They were honest enough to say it was for a real problem they wanted to solve.
They did not accept a generic standards based design approach and wanted a detailed solution, generally unheard of in an interview session.
My interview at flipkart for the Engineering Manager role was structured and insightful. The panel was professional, asked relevant technical and leadership questions, and created a comfortable atmosphere. It was a positive and growth-oriented experience overall.

A total of 5 rounds. First round is problem solving and second round is system design round. Third round is product knowledge and business outlook. Followed by Hiring manager round and HR rounds.

First round is Problem solving. Asked to design google maps, especially when we zoom in and zoom out in satellite view. Second round is around system design. Asked too many questions on micro services, database choices etc.
