I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Flowserve (Sulphur Springs, TX) in Feb 2011
Interview
Very good interview experience. The phone interview took about 45 minutes at which time the HR manager simply stated that she had heard enough and that I would hear from her within the next 5 days. She called back within 4 hours and asked how soon I could fly to Sulphur Springs for a face-to-face interview. Flowserve set-up all travel arrangements including airfare, hotel, and rental car.
The interview process was very straightforward. She asked me a couple of stupid questions which I refused to answer. I told her that I was not a fan of hypothetical questioning and thought it to be in my best interest to not answer. ( I actually told her that I was ready to leave at that point). She agreed that I was probably correct by not answering those type of questions especially for the position I was interviewing for.
One day went by when I received a phone call for another phone interview for another position. That interview lasted 1 hour at which time I was offered the job. The formal paperwork arrived via email within two hours. I started work two weeks later.
The relocation package was great! Movers, airlines, car transportation, house hunting help, etc. was all covered.
