I applied online. I interviewed at Fluor Marine Propulsion (Charleston, SC) in Aug 2021
Interview
The interview was four steps steps: initial phone call, transcript discussion, half-day of in-person interviews, and security clearance interview. The initial phone call was just to verify that you met basic eligibility requirements. The transcript discussion was over the phone and wanted an explanation of any grade you received that was not an A. For the on-site interview, I met four other candidates and we met at the hotel. At 6am, we were taken to breakfast by HR and given a rundown of the program and benefits package. Then we were taken on-site for 1:1 interviews; we each were interviewed by two people; there was no formal group interview. They’ll hire as many of you that pass interviews; you’re not competing for this role. Then if they want to hire you, you’ll be need to complete a security clearance investigation.

Interview
It was a teams meeting with three people.
They asking how things worked where I am and how to report current status of the project. Overall it was pretty relaxed.
An initial phone screen followed by an hour-long interview. The first interview was mostly to introduce the company as well as the group the position is for. The second interview was more in-depth -- they went over my resume and asked a variety of questions.
