      Backend Engineer Interview

      2 Apr 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Amsterdam
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Flybits (Amsterdam)

      Interview

The first round was a phone interview with HR. The second round was a 2 hour interview with the cto and two engineers from the team. There are two things that I did not like. 1. As described by the recruiter the position was for a software backend engineer. In the end the position was for SRE, where the job description was completely different from what was explained. 2. After the technical interview they never got back to me which I find very unprofessional. The whole process was not ideal and it showed a company culture that I would not want to work with. I would reject the offer even if I received one
