      Interview

I found this job opportunity using indeed and was contacted by Lindsay Lopez shortly for a group interview. There were a total of 4 over qualified female candidates. The thing that bothered me most is that while the tasks related to the role were administrative (answering phones, booking appointments, etc.) Lindsay was looking to extort other skills you could bring to the table for the same piddly salary (like business management, graphic design, etc). She was not upfront in sharing she was looking to hire 2 assistants for fewer hours and that each shift was only 4 hours each. The whole process took close to 2 hours as she interviewed us in a group setting and individually. On top of all this, she wanted us to come back for a "trial day." Lindsay is a former actress turned health guru turned business woman, I think she has lost her sense of compassion for others trying to scratch out a living in NYC and is exploitative in her business practices.
