I applied through an online portal and got an email response within a week to set up a phone interview. It was a typical phone interview. I was told all about the company and the role that they were hiring for. I asked why they were hiring for this role, and my interviewer was very forthcoming about the history of the role and the turnover with it. She was very forthcoming with exactly what they were looking for in a candidate and what parts of my resume stood out most to them - which I valued. By the end of the call, it was clear that the role didn't align with my goals, but she let me know that the next steps of the interview would have been an interview with 2-3 members of the team I would have been working with. Next, I would have another interview with a panel of 4, including someone I would be reporting to. And finally there would be an interview that included one of their leads or an executive. So the process seemed pretty straight forward.
