I applied online. I interviewed at Fortitude Plethora (Manchester, England) in Jun 2017
Interview
Received a phone call the next day after applying online, the interview was very odd in my opinion I turned up around 1 and Waited in what I can only discribe as a basic office block which was all decorated very simply for such a 'successful business' just a few pop up stands and chairs and a desk which made me first think this isn't going too be a good place too work at, I was asked a few questions about myself and what I want career wise in the future, when I tried getting more information from the interviewer about the business and what I would be expected to do he was very shady and wouldn't give away anything really, gave really bland answers and I eventually gave up asking. I was told too wait an hour too see if I would get called back for a second round of interviews but I went straight home on the train as it wasn't for me and I wasnt intrested in the slightest after they were that's shady. Got a phone call and he started asking me too come too the taster day tomorrow but I cut him short and told him it wasn't for me and I didn't understand anything about the business or what my role would be and he just cut me short again on the phone. Bear in mind that I did already explain I was only here for the summer as I'm still at university and I only had 3 months left of the summer and he had told me about a managers told which would take 6 months training which wasn't put on the advert or told too me in any emails or phone calls prior too the interview, so any actual business wouldn't off interviewed me if they were looking for a full time staff member but yet they still did. (More shadiness)
Overall don't bother with this in the slightest I think that they arnt an actual business and are advertising for an extremely crap job which isn't worth the travel or time.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Fortitude Plethora (Manchester, England) in Aug 2016
Interview
Have a 15 minute interview that didn't really ask anything, followed by one day of following an employee trying to sell a broadband package in the street, who gave me random tasks who would then recommend me based on how good I am, the employee interviewing will have only worked there for between 6 weeks and 6 months themselves.
At lunch he explained the 'business model' which is essentially a multi-level marketing scheme and kept using the word 'pyramid' apparently unaware of what he was explaining.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The only question they really asked was "Why should we choose you?" but they gave you 'hints' like "tell us about your work ethic, student mentality and attitude"
