Applyed online and had an in store one on one interview with manager. When i arrived i told one of the associates i wad here for an interview and she said she would tell the manager. The manager didn't greet me or say anything to me once she realized i was here, and i ended up sitting in the store for 45 mins. I wasn't sure if she even knew what i was here for! And was thinking maybe i should leave because there too busy. 45 mins later she brought me outside and said tell me about yourself and then litterally 1 min. Later she said oh people in this position require 5 years of experience. Your not qualified. Wow. You could of told me this before i came in, you saw my resume. I had to take a half day off of work for this!? She then procceded to say you can apply to the MIT position it pays minimum wage but you can work your way up to assistant visual manager in a few years and that pays $17 an hour. Thats less than i make now in a entry level position, are we still living in the "olden" days here? She thanked me and left. Very dissapointed in free people.

Interview
Straightforward and simple. I had to do multiple interviews, so I would recommend preparing yourself for a somewhat lengthy process. Overall, it took more than a month to complete the application and interview process

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Free People
Interview
After applying they sent me the survey to fill out and shortly after that I was asked to join their open interviews. It went well in my opinion and the whole vibe was very chill. After the interview we were asked to pick out 2 outfits that would be put on display to show how we would style things. The employees were kind but did not seem very interested during the interview process. I asked questions and they couldn't even clearly answer why they love working at free people...
