two interviews to see why you're interested in the firm specifically, your interest areas and areas you want to grow in, and to see how you manage competing priorities. But the interviewers are super friendly, they make it feel like a relaxed environment.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Freedman Consulting
Interview
Informal 30-45 minute interview, mostly consisting of information regarding the position and a few questions about my background (essentially a screen). Followed by a project/skills assessment, which took a few hours. Never heard back about the skills assessment (as of 1.5 months later) and no response from the point of contact when I asked about timeline for evaluation. Ghosting might be common – it still makes an employer look incompetent and unprofessional.
I interviewed at Freedman Consulting (Washington, DC)
Interview
I had one 30-minute phone screening, which included easy questions about how my background fits the job and company. They were very friendly and went over the company culture, work habits, and how projects work. They also brought up pay to make sure I was ok with it.
