I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Freescale Semiconductor (Anaheim, CA) in Mar 2015
Interview
I found them at a convention, they almost turned me away by giving me the old apply online scheme, and then I blurted out my experience related to the position and they signed me up for an interview. They seem to want people that demonstrate interest in their company and have an idea of what they want to do with Freescale.

Question 1
what all problems you encountered and how to solve them
Several interviews with peers and management. Initial interview with HR - standard personality based questions. Very technical based questions from management and peers - need to give several practical examples. Strong MCU background, software development beneficial. Automotive and industrial applications and systems experience very useful. Generally friendly and pleasant interviews but questions are tough and require preparation.
