      Flight Attendant Interview

      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Frontier Airlines in Nov 2012

      Interview

Sent my resume, and filled out application process online. Was then invited to a hiring event in my area. When I arrived everyone was standing around at the hotel, and chatting among one another. A bit before the interview time they gathered everyone to get their name tags, and head into a conference room. They then showed us some videos of the company, and told us information about what our responsibilities would be if employed with them. We then were told that all of us would be asked two questions in separate rounds, and answer in front of everyone, and them at their panel in the back of the room (I felt like a pseudo contender in a Miss America pageant). There were about 50 of us there, and this process took way too long. Also, if you have a fear of public speaking, then good luck. Thankfully I don't, but I did feel awkward/bad for the people that did because I'm sure they were dying inside. Following all the questions they allow everyone to go on a break. This is where they deliberate with one another and choose who they want. After the break we all came back to our seats, they called some names, and then sent them out of the room. That's when the rest of us were told we didn't make the cut. The whole day was a bit over 6 hours, and I wish that they made their cut a bit earlier because it was a huge waste of time. Four hours into the interview should have been the first cut.
