      Quality Assurance Interview

      20 Oct 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Chicago, IL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Frontline Education (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2015

      Interview

Phone screen and then in-person interview with people at Chicago office. I met with a QA lead, dev manager, and QA manager for 3 hours. Interview went great and the job seemed to be mine. An offer wasn't made but they started me on some paperwork. Then I got a "one last thing" - phone interviews with management in Pennsylvania. The managers rambled on about the "core values" on their website. Then they let me know these core values are based on biblical values. I guess I was supposed to answer "Amen!" but I didn't. 15 minutes after that phone call, I was told that they (the people who talked to me for 15 minutes) decided I wasn't a good fit for their company.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Some programming/logic exercises from the Dev Manager. Lots of specific SQL and Selenium questions from the QA Lead.
