CFO and experience staff interviewed recruits referred to employer from a leading temp agency. Employer is seeking temp-to-hire candidates to learn a new field (insurance accounting). No prior experience required.

CFO asked candidates to teach the interviewer about something -- anything -- that the candidate already knows how to do. Purpose is two-fold: test communication skill and discover whether candidates can describe their existing know-how in conceptual terms.
