      Frontend Developer Interview

      16 Jun 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Montreal, QC
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Fujitsu (Montreal, QC) in May 2022

      Interview

Just one video call with their HR contact. He gave a minimal explanation of the company and role. He said he would send the job description to me via email after the call and asked if I could send him copies of my university degrees. I sent him these immediately after. He never replied and did not send the job description he promised. I sent two further emails asking if he had received my university degrees etc but no reply. I called the numbers (both work and cell) given in his emails but he wouldn't pick up. I tried to add him on linkedIn but he refused the connection. Finally I had to find a colleague of his on LinkedIn (listed as the person in charge of the job posting) and sent her a message asking if the role was still available. She was apologetic and said that they had found someone for the role and that it was no longer available. Waste of time, and pretty rude to ghost candidates especially after they contact their university to arrange the necessary documents.
