First you are entered into an applicant pool then Phone screening, followed by an in person interview with principal and AP. Everything was well planned and it was a smooth process from start to finish.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is one challenge you faced in the workplace and how did you overcome.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fulton County Schools in Jun 2020
Interview
You answer questions on your job application. From there, you will do a 5-7minute lesson over the phone. (5min lesson + 2 min assessment.) They will ask questions related to your lesson. You will get an email if you were approved for the hiring pool based on this lesson. Then, principals will start calling. You can't apply to specific schools. I did a few interviews with schools. One of them had me teach a demo lesson. Another, chose 10 candidates to do a screener then would select candidates to do a proper interview. Other schools just did one interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at Fulton County Schools
Interview
Complete an online application through the FCS website. Then contacted for a screening interview. Direct school contacted me for an interview. Attended in person interview with the department head. Attended a second interview with department head and principal. Offer extended.
I interviewed at Fulton County Schools (Sandy Springs, Fulton, GA)
Interview
In person interview, had to do a demo lesson plan. Due to it being during the summer the demo was presented in front of adults vs. children which was a tad bit nerve-racking.
