The process took 1 day. I interviewed at GE Aerospace in Apr 2011
Interview
The interview wasn't bad; I talked to three managers and then recieved a tour around the plant. They then showed the inerviewees a video that basically said this is why you should work at GE. I heard back a week later. I would say 3/4 of the people that interviewed recieved and accepted an offer.
It was a friendly environment. It took nearly 2 hours with group case and technical and HR questions. questions were about daily life and personality as well as technical acknowledge
It was not too hard, overall the questions were not very difficult. The first round was a HireVue questionnaire where they asked basic questions in a multiple choice or short answer format.
I applied through university. I interviewed at GE Aerospace (Cincinnati, OH)
Interview
The interview process felt natural and conversational, which helped me feel comfortable from the start. The questions flowed smoothly, allowing me to express my thoughts clearly without feeling rushed. Overall, the relaxed and supportive atmosphere made the experience feel more like a discussion than a formal interview, reducing stress and making it an enjoyable interaction.
