Applied on line and promptly received an email from a GE contract recruiter asking that I complete a candidate screening form and he would be back in touch. The "GE Aviation Candidate Pre-Screen" form is intended for the recruiter to complete during a phone interview and asks for very basic information. Completed the form, and three days later I received an automated and rather rudely stated email indicating "GE is not pursuing my candidacy" - strange. My conclusion is GE's got a very unprofessional and wasteful recruiting process likely reflective of the environment once you are there. If you are not talking with candidates, you really are not recruiting.
