The interview process was very slow. I was called for a telephone interview and then immediately scheduled for a one on one interview with the hiring manager. Thereafter, I did not hear anything for several weeks. I was contacted by the hiring manager by email approximately two weeks after the interview inquiring into my status and asking me if I was still interested in the job. The salary expectations were below what I suggested, but still within an acceptable range. We negotiated for another week and eventually arrived at a mutually acceptable figure. I accepted the offer and underwent a physical and drug test. I then had to fly to the regional office several states away and attend an indoctrination seminar for two days. After completion of the seminar I was fully hired.
